Maddie’s Story (As Told By Her Mom, LeAndra Suprenant)
Two weeks after bringing our perfect baby girl, Madelyn, home from the hospital we got a call from the doctor’s office. “Madelyn’s newborn screening panel came back, and she tested positive for cystic fibrosis.” After asking the nurse to repeat the information a few times, it finally hit us that our Maddie had a life-threatening genetic disease. The questions started: How? Why? What is cystic fibrosis? How will it affect her life, and how will it affect all of ours as well?
Casey Neilon is pleased to announce that Beth Lucas has earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. She has been issued her CPA license by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy. To qualify, she had to pass a rigorous, four-part written exam. She also had to earn a four-year college degree, complete additional credit hour requirements and complete at least two years of experience in public accounting.
Leslie Kidd and Thaaron Kalt have recently earned their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations and have been issued their licenses by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy. Darsi Casey, co-founder of Casey Neilon, has long believed in giving back to her community. Darsi’s commitment to giving back was recently acknowledged publicly when she was sworn in as a “special advocate” in First Juvenile District Court in Carson City, NV on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
